The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has proposed to Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to start negotiations on a new double taxation agreement (DTA). The changes to the DTA could come into force as early as 2024. In the fall of 2022, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation began compiling a list of friendly countries for revision of the DTA.
