Business between Russia and India grew 150% last year to $35 billion. The growth is mainly due to increased Russian energy and fertilizer exports, but Indian exporters are also exporting more products to Russia. Both states made efforts to conduct more trade in their national currencies. Russia has risen to become India’s fifth largest trading partner.
