The Raiffeisenbank in Russia has announced further restrictions in private customer business. From August 1, customers will not be able to deposit foreign currencies in cash into their bank accounts or exchange them for rubles in branches. It has not been possible to deposit euros and dollars via ATMs since February. In addition, the bank introduces a fee for cash deposits in rubles of 1% of the amount. It is not known whether these innovations will also be introduced for corporate customers in the future, a large number of foreign subsidiaries in Russia maintain accounts with Raiffeisen in Russia.
