The Otto Group has sold its assets in Russia, the Russian newspaper Kommersant recently reported. According to the information, the two storage areas of the German company in the Tver region went to the Moscow warehouse operator Multicold. Multicold confirmed the deal without giving details. For its part, the Russian martekplace Ozon announced that it had leased the 7,000 square meter storage space that once belonged to the Otto Group from Multicold. The Otto Group has been represented in Russia since 1991 with the Otto, Bonprix and Quelle brands. The group closed the Russian branches of its online shops Quelle and Otto back in 2018. In 2022, the Russian subsidiary Bonprix also ceased its activities in Russia.
